ACCESS STATEMENT
GENERAL
The physical structure and layout of the building (built circa 1900) makes the premises
unsuitable for people with a serious mobility impairment.
The nearsest bus and tram stops are 2 minutes walk
Taxi's can be booked at the hotel - please ask.
We accept guide dogs
We can store medications etc in our fridge
HOTEL ARRIVAL
The entrance to the guest house is at the front on Willshaw Road. Guest vehicles can pull up on the street outside
the guest house. Limited unrestricted parking is available on Willshaw Road. There is a pay carpark with 2 disabled
places across the road from the guest house. We can provide luggage assistance
There are 5 steps from the street to a paved area and then a further 3 steps to the front door.
or. A handrail is available on both sets of stairs on one side only. The front door is locked and not automated and contact
is made via a doorbell. There is one further step between the entrance hall and reception.
GROUND FLOOR FACILITIES
Our dinning room, bar, reception and guest lounge are all located on the ground floor. There
are no steps into any of these rooms. Chairs in the dinning room can be rearranged. The public
area WC is located on the first floor.
BEDROOMS
Our bedrooms are spread across two floors. There is no lift but first floor rooms can be allocated
on request. We have 7 bedrooms all with fitted with a short-pile carpet, all en-suite. There are no
bunkbeds or children's sized beds and all double beds can be accessed from both sides.
