Blackpool is the UK's number one tourist attraction and boasts many popular and famous attractions, most of which stretch along Blackpool's 6 mile promenade.

The Pleasure Beach

Located at the South Beach end of the promenade.
Open at weekends during March and fully open from Easter - November.
The Pleasure Beach has 145 rides for all ages. Entrance to the park is free and unlimited ride armbands can be purchased at the park entrance.
Recommended rides are Valhalla(you will get wet), The Big One, The Ghost Train and The Grand National

The Illuminations

Running from September to early November, the Illuminations are 6 miles of stunning lights following the promenade.
The 2008 Illuminations run from 29 Aug 2008 to 2 Nov 2008. Book early for the first and last weekend.

The Tower

A mini Eiffel tower!. Ride to the top and try the 'Walk Of Faith' or visit the superb Circus (no animals).

The Zoo

Located about 15 mintues from the promenade and the hotel, Blackpool Zoo makes an excellent family day out. Crossing the road from the Zoo is Stanley Park (take some nuts for the squirrels!).

Sandcastle Indoor Waterpark

Located opposite the Pleasure Beach, this is Blackpool's indoor tropical temperature award winning water theme park.

The Three Piers/Shows/Winter Gardens

Blackpool has three piers; North,South and Central, all of which contain various amusements and shows. Central Pier is our recommended pier for attactions.
